If a very nice campground, no hookups but flush toilets, showers, and a dump station fit your needs you would be hard pressed to do better than Pine Grove. It is about a dozen miles southeast of Flagstaff off of Lake Mary Road. Not expensive and as I recall a Geezsr card cuts the fees in half. Located at about 8.400' It is open and gorgeous May through September and stays fairly full so reservations are a must.
We spent another week there last August enjoying the afternoon monsoon thunderstorms and exploring the area. We rode {on my Harley} up to Snowbowl, out to the Grand Canyon {south rim}, back out to Williams and even took a ride east to the Meteor Crater. Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Jerome, Prescott and of course Sedona make for nice day trips as well.
Just leave the power cord in storage and enjoy some of the most beautiful mountains to found anywhere.
