Where we are it is called a six by six because you can stay up to six months and leave your unit on the site all year. Some people who want to stay an extra month or two pay an additional minimum fee for staying longer. The town we are in does limit the number of people who van stay in the park for the entire year because of the way the park is taxed. We pull our fiver home but leave a car parked on our patio so that we don't have to drive the big truck everywhere. It is one rate and is actually less money than paying for five individual months at the regular rates.
Hmm? On the website for the new RV Park mentioned by Good Sam it is actually no discount to keep it there all year; they actually pay more than 12 X the summer rate, and the summer rate isn't much less than their winter rate. I guess the mods won't mind if I post the link here because this forum seems to be owned by or partnered with Good Sam. Here are the rates:
