Texas is not Florida

If you're saying that you can't find RV storage at a reasonable price in Florida, I just checked. You can.

Did your search lead you to covered storage for $100 (or so) in Florida? If so, what size space and where?
I do have a reasonably priced (in my opinion) in Florida, but uncovered and no power. If I'd be thrilled if I could find a good rate on an appropriately sized covered storage slot in a good location. Just wonder how long is the wait list.
Those taking the 6/6 option are storing for six months during a Florida summer, might want to run their ac's enough to cut humidity to help prevent mold and mildew. They also hold their favored space for the next winter. Understandably, the 6/6 option does not suit you or I or many others, but it might suit some people, so pricing is available for them.

I did a very quick Google search and this was the first RV storage in Florida that I checked.
West Tampa Storage
I'd say $89 a month is equal to what I was seeing here in Dallas. The storage in Dallas did not include power, but it did have a roof. I can't say about this one because it's not that important to me to spend the time investigating it. What this tells me is if I found this near a major Florida city in a 5-minute search, I'm sure there are better deals out there if I was seriously looking. If I was storing an RV for 6 months it wouldn't need to be located close to a major city where prices are higher.
Well, I hoped you had quickly happened upon a good deal for covered storage in Florida, but alas you did not. Not that I expect you to try, understanding that it is not a priority in your life.
