Buttonwood Inlet in Bradenton, FL might meet your needs. It is less than a mile from Anna Maria Island and the Gulf of Mexico. It is a gorgeous island, especially with kids. Its close enough to ride bikes to the beach. There is a pool at the campground as well. We've stayed there several times and are going back in February again. Full hookups and sites big enough for very large rigs.
