Florida gulf coast campgrounds
Can anyone tell me of any campgrounds that are located directly on the Gulf? I know about Camp Gulf, but it is so expensive. How about somewhere further south? Any information is appreciated!

I can tell you that in the Fort Myers area, a really nice RV site (40'x 100') 2 miles off the beach is around $1500 a month. Smaller sites (25' x 75') at decent RV parks 2 miles off the beach are closer to $1200 a month. If you want to be 7 or 8 miles from the beaches it starts getting cheaper.
