If you can handle dry camping Juniper Springs Recreation Area
Reserve America link, just off Hwy 40 slightly southwest of Lake George, is terrific. We think it is the prettiest park we've seen. We hit it on a Sunday as the crowd was clearing out. To our understanding it is quite popular, so reservations might not hurt.
Safe traveling.
Juniper springs is in the Ocala National forest and if you have not been to the natural springs then you are missing some of the best Fla has to offer. Down the road is Alexander Springs which is my favorite. Similar to Juniper but a little larger spring and campground. A must see if camping in Fla. Check it out on the web.
