We did drive over to Topsail and liked Henderson Beach better because of site space and privacy. Thanks for your thoughts.
It's hard to beat Henderson Beach and we've stayed there several times but we also enjoy many other Florida state parks in the panhandle area. They each have their special charm! We loved Topsail, Blackwater River, and Grayton Beach too. A little farther south we also liked St. Joseph Peninsula, St. George Island, and Manatee Springs.
I suggest you try them all!
