Florida Panhandle ocean front camping
After leaving New Orleans we want to spend a few days at a nice campground in the panhandle of Florida. Would like something ocean front and close to beaches. Any thoughts?

Not many beachfront options in the panhandle or the entire state of Florida for that matter. There are lots of state parks in the panhandle that are nice and some with full hookups, but there is a drive, walk or bike ride to the beach. Camp Gulf is the only one that comes to mind that is actually beachfront.
