Florida State Parks CLOSED

TOLD YOU SO....

Thank you for your inquiry in regards to camping at Florida State Parks.
Existing overnight camping and cabin reservations that begin Wednesday, March 18, will be honored. Visitors must arrive prior to 5 p.m. on March 18, to secure their reservation. After Wednesday, all reservations moving forward will be cancelled and refunded. Beginning Friday, March 20, campgrounds and all overnight accommodations will be fully closed through Friday, May 15, 2020.
ReserveAmerica, the Florida State Parks partner in camping reservations, will reach out to all affected parties to refund camping reservations. ReserveAmerica can also be reached directly at 1-800-326-3521 or TDD 888-433-0287 if visitors have questions or need to modify existing reservations. Please contact ReserveAmerica if you have already canceled or you have additional questions regarding refunds.

  • Twomed, I live right between two Va State Parks. Staunton River, and Occoneechee. If you like I will take a ride through either and send you a couple of pics of the open areas.
    We currently have no documented cases within 50 miles of here. But, of course that is subject to change. I even bought 4 4 packs of TP a couple of hours ago from a South Boston Va store called "Supply Line" just to have some spares.
    The insanity is coming here, but at the moment it's not horrible.

    At least the Florida government is keeping you up to date and cares about you. Can't really say the same about the Feds...
  • Hmmm,that was a concern of mine also here in VA but got confirmation today that all State parks would be open, actually just got off the phone. Lol
