We were one of those that sat at our computer every morning at 8:00 am and would get sites in the Florida Keys, bouncing back and forth between the four state parks.
We wintered that way for the past ten years, and then every year it got harder.
We solved the problem two years ago when we lucked out and got a steal deal buy in a private condo RV park. Last year we pulled a brand new 38 foot long trailer in and mounted it permanently, sold our 25 footer and now will never again have to play the reserve America game.
