We are at Tomoka State Park tonight, pulled in late this afternoon with no reservations but we knew,from checking the ReserveAmerica page, that they had lots of open sites. We are native Floridians, senior citizens, and DH is a retired DEP employee. We also bemoan the terrible reservation system when compared to the good old "first-come first-served" days. That said, I don't have any good ideas about how to fix it. Good luck with the Gov. and the legislature. I'm afraid that the state park system is very low on their priority list. If anyone has a good, workable plan to fix the reservation system, let me know and I will be happy to help. lizzie
