Can anyone shed any light on the Ocala area or the Jupiter area?

Thanks

You have not updated your BLOG sence September.... what is this?
  • Not far from Ocala, but Crystal River on the Nature Coast is worth a look. It is about an hour SW of Ocala. Less crowded, more laid back "Old Florida." If need infoon camping etc, PM me.
  • We are in the Ocala area now. Not much around the area, downtown is nice and thats about it.
  • We stay just south of the Ocala National Forest from Jan. 1 to April 1 and it is fine. Temps may dip a bit but not for long and very seldom do you need to use the heat. I stay away from the coast except for required visits to friends and family; there is just too much traffic to get anywhere. Good luck and enjoy your time.
  • We like it since we live here...lol. What you wanna know?
  • Ocala nice medium size city. Good shopping and eateries. Winters highs in the 70 & 80 average. Can get quite a few freezing nights.

So far this winter there has not been any reason to go south of Ocala for warm weather, but that will probably change by the time you get down in Feb. It's 225 miles further south to Jupiter... big temp dfference. Like most of SE Fla Jupiter does not have many CGs...JD SP
