As for those trails, if they do open them back up to walking, one note of advice. Heavy bug spray. The mosquitoes back there are unbelievable. Trust me.
Oh yea I know they will carry off a small child. A couple of years back there were some people walking that got eaten up by mosquitoes. I always deet myself up as they seem to flock to me.

Agree. If it was at the beach. You could at least go walking on the beach, or fly a kite on the beach, or just sit and watch the ocean. but from that far away. You are real limited
You are only limited if Willow Tree doesn't fit for you. And I know how you like the ocean. But the ocean doesn't quite work for everyone but we still enjoy going and have the option to go if we want to.
I have a son that is on the autism spectrum. He does not like the ocean and the noise of the waves bothers him (who knows). He doesn't like crowded campgrounds where everything is busy. We went to Pirate Land years ago and we could barely get him out of the trailer. Since we love the area when I found Willow Tree it was perfect for us. It is not to big so not crazy crowded, golf carts are not bad. We are close enough to the beach that I can take my daughter to the ocean and he can stay at the campground where he is happy.
This way we all are happy happy happy and isn't that what camping is all about. :B
