One of our favorite places is taking the Icefields Parkway thru Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper in Alberta. Lots of wildlife and things to do and the beauty is wonderful. We stay at Tunnel Mountain in Banff, Lake Louise Trailer Park, and we love Whistlers in Jasper.
Or if you reallt have the whole summer, head up to Alaska as we are next year. That is the ultimate vacation and will stay forever in your grandson's and your memories.
You can arrange to do the Icefields parkway either on your way up or back from Alaska. That is what we plan starting end of May next year. Can't wait!!!
