Try door county WI magazines call it the Martha's vineyard of the midwest. Great food excellent white sand beaches all the water sports you can imagine. 8 different lighthouses and the sightseeing is great. Once you are north of Sturgeon bay there are no more chain stores of any kind. Only mom and pop and the fish boils are a ball but best of all are the people. We have been to Mexico and the Virgin islands. The Rockies and Smokies Mnts. Vegas and New Orleans, but we always return to the Door. This time will be the fourth we go in early August.
