I sure think this is overkill.

A good way to direct spending toward higher priority items. You can argue what does or doesn't constitute a priority. How this is determined and who is making that determination will be a discussion far into the future.

Keeping the majority public safe outweighs the freedom (camping at that) of the few.

Oregon has as of today has 1,321 Corona virus case and 44 deaths. How many more cases and deaths would it take not to be “overkill?”

Oregon’s numbers look very good compared to Washington’s 10,224 cases, 491 deaths. Possibly the Oregon Governor isn’t overreacting.
