Fort Wilderness Question

I would call Disney and ask.

I found the sites and the streets to back in very tight. I watched several 5th wheel and larger Class A struggle to back on. Unless they have larger sites I didnt see I think you will have an issue.

You can unload as you come in the campground in pull off area, then drive cart to site..

Especially the inside of some of the circles (we stayed inside of the 100 loop).

Don't know went you are going but, you better CALL to see if they have a site.. You should think about a Premium site because of size!!!!

I just told wifey to call and upgreade to a preimium site......my rig is not the most manuervable rig in the world :)

With MOST Premium sites you will have no problems... each year we go there are some HUGE haulers along with tractors pulling them that back into the sites....Try for the 700 loop...It is up front near the boat docks and tavern... the 100 and 200 loops are nice , but small in size in comparison...

We're going in November. When I told her our 370C was 45' long, she took note so we could be fitted in. Worse case scenario is the site they have for us won't work and they'll have to pick us another site.

Not every site will be that tight.

The guys at fortfiends know everything there is to know about this place. Here is a link to videos of all the loops at Fort wilderness. We will be there for the first time in august. As stated, they fill up easy so book now if not done already. You can request a loop if you desire but there is a trick to it. Do a search on that forum and they will show you how to do it.

There is a hitch/unhitch pull-thru you can use to get the golf cart out. It's right on the way to the loops. The premium sites aren't necessarily larger; it means they have a larger concrete pad and are closer to the amenities (which you may or may not care for esp. with a golf cart). The sites sizes do vary, but they do not measure them; all the workers know is tent, full, preferred and premium. I've seen 42ft toy haulers in a full loop and land a 75ft deep site that was next to me.

If you get to the site and cannot fit, look for a vacant one that will fit and send the golf cart to the front desk asking to move. The trick at Disney is to ask, they don't offer.

FWIW the Fort Fiends usually use the full hookup loops. They are cheaper, quieter, and not far from the large pool.
