- Gene_MExplorerThanks CT Wanderer
- CT_WANDERERExplorerI have stayed at Mohegan. They have a very large parking area and pretty level. When you get there security will come by, fill out a parking pass (free) and it is good for a week or two. Dry camping but you can run the generator if needed. Can't remember just how long it is good for. Firework are on Wed. nights usually after the 4th during the summer time. Very good show. Shuttle will come by and bring you the casino. I have not checkout Foxwoods RV parking area.
- FULLTIMEWANABEExplorerWe stayed at Foxwood several years ago and would stay there for convenience overnight or two again. Shuttle came by to take folks to the Casino albeit we chose to walk. Thanks for the tip on the Mohegan Sun, will check that out again next time for the Buffet.
- Gene_MExplorerHi all, can anyone comment on the levelness of Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos in Connecticut? Is one more level than the other?
Thanks in advance. - Vet_ManExplorerThey both have RV parking. Mohegan Sun is high on a river bank over looking the Thames River. Mohegan has weekly fire works that are free. Not sure what day. Most locals like the Sun better, they claim a higher pay off and better Buffet.

Do they have any hookups or is it just a parking lot for rvs?
No, but you can run a genny. Because I have without a problem. Just use the casino and you will not be bothered. Dont overdue the stay, a day or 2 is fine. I wouldnt push it much beyond that. It is free. - CrabbypattyExplorerDo they have any hookups or is it just a parking lot for rvs?

We are staying at a new place under construction that isn't far. I think they built the sites small, but that is my opinion. The place is called Ashaway RV Resort , but as I said, it is still work in progress. I think they bit off too much at once and should have taken some notes from Normandy Farms.
You may have missed the point.
Yes, you can stay at Foxwoods for a couple of days. They have a parking area for RV's where you can open slides if you need to. I have used it several times. - loggenrockExplorerI have friends who prefer Mohegan Sun over Foxwoods, but they have stayed at both... ST
