. The grey can empty into the black tank. - realdeal1003ExplorerHi guys OP here. I guess I should have clarified it better. Definitely referring to a new camper, never a used one. The grey can empty into the black tank. With all joking aside, I believe we could all benefit. Louie
- korbeExplorerYes. If you combine the tanks you can get a capacity of the two tanks combined. However, be careful, without combining you will get 30 and 40, respectfully. But combining, you will get 70.

- profdant139Explorer IIIf the OP really means mixing fresh and gray, remind me not to accept a dinner invitation from him! (Lou -- we know what you meant -- we are just having fun. ;) )
- dewey02Explorer IIWhy not connect up the blackwater tank too, while you are at it?
And remind me to camp two states away from wherever you are! :?:h - OasisbobExplorerI think he is wondering if anyone has drawn from the gray tank to use exclusively for the loilot? Makes one wonder. Not a bad thought really. Atleast for the serious boon docker. I have flushed with dish water before but never plumbed it in

BLK and gray can be mixed.
Here's HOPING that's what the O.P. intended to ask.... - RoyBExplorer IIMust be some sort of confusion here.
The fresh water tank is used for consumption. The GRAY and BLACK water tanks are holding tanks for waste water until they are dumped.
This is a simplified water flow diagram for a typical RV setup
Roy Ken - 2oldmanExplorer IINo, that's nuts. I think you have the fresh water tank confused with the black water.
