Fruit and California border??
We are moving back and forth from Arizon to California this winter and friend let us pick organges off their tree in Mesa. Will they take them away from us when going into Cal? How strict r they?

We have found that the questions asked of us vary over the course of the year. Might be when certain fruits are in season. We had some cherries taken even though they were store bought. Sometimes they ask for citrus. One time they actually wanted to look in my frig even though I told them we didn't have any fruits at all. A special program I suppose.
I have also heard that a grocery receipt for store bought fruits will help. Haven't tried that one yet.
