Fruit and California border??
We are moving back and forth from Arizon to California this winter and friend let us pick organges off their tree in Mesa. Will they take them away from us when going into Cal? How strict r they?

I have crossed from AZ to CA so many times I have lost count and they have never taken any of my fruit. Most times they never even ask. I don't believe it is my duty to prescreen everything I put in my vehicle or TT for whatever destination I am headed to. If CA, or any other state for that matter, wants to ban the importation of particular foodstuffs I am certainly willing to cooperate. However, as I have heard on this thread and others, no one is entering my TT to search for anything without legal standing.
