My guess: if they did chop some closest to the roads, the very next day, the next row of trees would have fresh scars.
This discussion reminds me of the Joni Mitchell song called Big Yellow Taxi, about how "they paved paradise and put up a parking lot....took all the trees and put them in a tree museum..."
There are lots of campgrounds in Florida where "modern RVs" of any size won't have a problem.
