Garden of the Gods (Illinois)
I'm just starting to plan a trip and I'm wondering about ideas on places to stay. We would like to have electric hookups and be fairly close to the scenic hikes.

We liked the Pharoah Campground at Garden of the Gods. Big Pine trees. No hookups. Vault toilets and no shower. Water supply is a crank to pump in to a jug.Go prepared.No store nearby. Some sites are tight between pines. Only 12 sites. No reservations. I think the nearest camp with at least electric is the campground at Cave in Rock SP.
