Gas Grill

I noticed Sam's has a nice two burner stainless with folding feet on it. Similar to my Igloo grill but bigger with two burners. Closes like a suitcase. $100.

The longer you travel the more you will realize that bigger is not always better! :B

Thru out all the BBQ's I have acquired over the years and I'm down to these 2. I can do all the cooking I could ever want on them. BBQ and real cooking with a pot. AND more importantly, they fold flat as a laptop for easy storage in any of the RV bay's.





I kept this Coleman 2 burner stove because about once every other week I cook up soup, stews and/or chilli and bag them up and freeze them for those lazy days when I don't feel like cooking. Or for quick meals when I hit the road.

I find it really interesting that you were able to change a leg that is all one piece with the frame. How did you do it and what part did you order from Weber, I can't seem to find replacement legs. It would be good for future reference.

The frame and the leg are all one piece and you can change it out. I know as I have done it. My Q is the new 1200. Maybe they are making it out of a different material but bumping the leg on the edge of a table is all it took to snap mine off. The other one was broken when I stepped on it.

Port Bolivar Ferry security frowns upon propane tanks not connected to anything! Also, any gas cans (they want them empty and filled w/water)! We overnight at Crystal beach, TX and before heading for the ferry put our empty gas can and spare 30lb. tank (for grill) in the shower. We had no problems.

You will be in Texas. You MUST have a grill or smoker in the back of your pickup, else it is not a real truck.

Same question.I have had my Q100 over 6 years now and can not figure out how a leg can be broken off,let alone replaced.

Same question. I have a Q100 and Q200, just went out and smacked all four legs of the Q200 with a hammer, I know its not a smart thing to do, but after checking it out, kind of flexible like nylon, I was pretty sure it wouldn't hurt it. All legs survived.

What did you bump it with?

I am in Yuma AZ right now and wanted to replace my crappy cheap BBQ with one I found at Sam's Club which is retailing for 99 bucks, stainless steel, proper fuel adapter for large tank, folding legs and a cover. I wanted a small tank (5 or 10 pounder for easy storage) but couldn't find one at Sam's. One of my neighbours said that these tanks were very expensive and I just about had a heart attack when I was quoted 85 bucks for a 10 pounder, but if I waited for customer appreciation day I could get it for 15% off. I could buy a 30 pounder for a quarter of the price. I will probably buy a 20 pound one and just place it in my truck box when traveling.

Don't forget to fasten the lid down. It's not uncommon to see a lid on the side of the road.
