The media indicates that the refineries are running at 95% capacity to keep up with the demand and have postponed maintenance. They have to shut down for maintenance in the fall and to re-configure for furnace oil production. Also, Canada's largest refinery (Irving, which supplies gas to the north east US) is going down for about 3 months for a major re-fit).
I'm betting gas won't be cheap this fall!
