- ken56ExplorerThere are so many choices in the area its mind numbing so you should be able to find something to suit your needs. Reasonably priced is subjective though, Look at RVparkreviews.com for a good comparison and reviews on the parks in the area. Look in the Cosby area too if you want more peace and quiet. If you want in the immediate area and on the trolley route then expect to pay top dollar.

We really liked Smoky Bear Campground, immaculately clean, excellent staff, away from the craziness that is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, about 20 minutes east of Gatlinburg, 10 minutes east of a full service grocery store, and a hot tub!
Unless you have kids, I personally would stay away from Pigeon Forge.

X2! The Jellystone in G-burg (Cosby TN) is great. Mostly All sites on a creek flowing out of the NP. The campground backs to the NP and there is plenty of good hiking from there. - CampincartersExplorerwe stayed at Twin Creek RV Resort in Gatlinburg. Enjoyed it very much.

We were right on the creek with the soothing sounds, close to attractions but off the main road so it was fairly quiet. Trolley comes through the park about every twenty minutes. New bath house but we did not use it. The staff was helpful and I would stay there again.

- HelmseyExplorerOur go in that area is River Plantation, we absolutely love that place. It's far enough off away from the main road that you don't get any road noise and I think it's one of the most reasonable priced RV Parks around there.
That said, we are trying out Pine Mountain in a few months. Went to visit some friends up there 2 weeks ago and really like it. It is a bit pricier than River Plantation, but we'll try it once and see if it's worth it (to us). - Campfire_TimeExplorerWe really liked Smoky Bear Campground, immaculately clean, excellent staff, away from the craziness that is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, about 20 minutes east of Gatlinburg, 10 minutes east of a full service grocery store, and a hot tub!

- 1ofmanyExplorerNewport KOA is close and very reasonably priced.
