georgia /alabama state parks

Question

Hi all, will be going through ga and al and was wondering if you must have a resv to stay one night or can you drive up and get a spot?
Hard to make a resv when you dont know when you will be passing a state park.

Don't quote me on this. but I do believe that same day reservations can be made. If not in person, then by online. I would check the web site for the park in question first to check availability.

Cant tell you for sure as we make reservations well in advance. I don't believe it's as hard to get a spot as it is in Florida State Parks, but depending on what park you decide on, it could be tough. I think in your instance it will totally be hit or miss.
