We check the map at Georgia State Parks http://gastateparks.org/parks and also do a search at Woodalls.com which has an excellent rating system.

BTW Skidaway Island State Park is one of our faves. Some of their sites are FHU now too. http://gastateparks.org/SkidawayIsland

Jekyll Island is one of our favorites.

We've stayed at both Jekyll Island and Skidaway, both were nice.

Last time we stayed at Skidaway they were converting some (I don't know if the intent was to do all) sites to full hookups. Skidaway is very convenient to Savannah which DW and I consider one of the prettiest cities in the country.

We recently overnighted at Coastal Georgia RV resort in Brunswick. I was very pleased with what we found there.

Stay away from Savannah Oaks rv resort. A resort it is not. Too far out, no cell signal unless you have verizon, unlevel sites, snakes, rocky and dirty.

Coastal Georgia RV Resort is nice.

Yep, one of ours, too.

planning on a Jekyll trip next month .. Never have been. Are there any fave sites? some with some kinda scenery other than the RV next to you? .. sorry if i highjacked your post
