What is there to do in the Gettysburg area? RV campgrounds? We know the area is full of history, but don't know where to start. Thanks & Merry Christmas.

There is an excellent audio book by Civil War historian James McPherson "A Walk At Gettysburg" that will be very helpful when touring the battlefield. You can walk, climb, bike, horseback ride, etc while on the battlefield. They just do not want you to climb on monuments or cannons. Walk in Gettysburg with reverence and remember the thousands who died.
