Giant Redwoods
DW and I are planning a trip for April or May to see the giant redwoods in California. Are the biggest trees located in north California? What would the temperatures be like in April or May?

Farmboy, if I can add another two cents -- yes, Yosemite is very crowded (and hot) during the summer. But Sequoia is much cooler and many fewer folks. On the other hand, Yosemite has those spectacular waterfalls; Sequoia and Kings Canyon have waterfalls, too, but not as many and not as high.
