When I did this trip a few yrs back, I spent 2 weeks at Glacier (1 on the east, 1 on the west side), I had allowed 1 week at Yellowstone, but left it disappointed after 2 days, and spent my final week at Grand Teton NP, which I much preferred over the crowds & traffic & idiots blocking the whole roadway whenever they saw an animal at Yellowstone.
PS: I'm a Harley rider, you'll have much more fun touring both sides of Glacier on the bike than the frustrating stop & go traffic at Yellowstone.

Here's a suggestion you might not expect, drive through Yellowstone and head south to Grand Teton National Park and spend a 3-5 days there. Just my preference. It's definitely your choice. :)
