Even though we live here, I can't give much insight to any of them. The one in Basalt has a number of sites occupied by seasonal workers, as does Ami's acres. The one in Carbondale is building some new bathrooms. They may be open already, as we haven't been by in a couple of weeks. This CG is in the process of becoming a KOA. More in the woods than any of the others. All three have road noise. Rock Garden CG east of GWS doesn't seem to get very good reviews on RVparkreviews. Some of the same complaints there I've also heard from people staying there.
One other option is Redstone NFS CG. Some sites have water and 15 A electric but no sewer. Real close to the cute town of Redstone, and a lot less money, too. More space here between campsites than any of the other CG's d a little further from the highway.
Sorry there's not much more to offer. Real estate prices are such that CG's get priced out of the market.
