Depends on how far east you mean. The only FHU RV park on the east side of town, but IN Glenwood is at No Name (wast of the I-70 tunnel) called Glenwood Canyon Resort. It's right next to the Colorado River, but also right between I-70 and the E-W mainline of the Union Pacific Railroad through Colorado. So, if you want some peace and quiet, you won't find it there.
Ami's Acres is on the west side of town and up the hill from I-70 and the trains. But you can still hear the traffic noise and trains, just not as loud.
A little less noisy would be staying south of Glenwood in Carbondale. Two RV parks there--KOA and Gateway. There is also a Forest Service campground at Redstone on CO 133 that has electric hookups. But it is VERY popular, so reservations are a must. There are plenty of RV parks, but no state parks with hookups along I-70 east of Glenwood Canyon, but there are several in the Rifle area along I-70 west of Glenwood. It just depends on how far you want to commute to the Springs.
