goblin tippers convicted.

Just saw on the news that the Boy Scout leaders that pushed over the "goblin" rocks in the national park just were convicted on 80 counts and could face up to 5 years in prison. Check these facts I just caught the last of the report.
If so this should send a clear message to those that even think of vandalizing our parks. Chalk up one for the good guys!!

  • 5 yes is a bit much. They have families to raise and such. A couple hundred hours of community service in the park and a good fine should send a message to the public.
  • Well I'm glad that they have been charged. 5 yrs in the slammer might be a little bit of overkill tho. 30 evenings and weekends, the fine and a lot of community service in the park system might be more appropriate. They'll most likely plea bargain to something like that.
