Luray KOA is great. It is a small campground so make reservations early (Fall colors in the valley).
About 10 miles north on rt340 is a great state Park, Andy Guest - Shenandoah River. They have 32 Water/electric RV sites. No sewer hook-up but there is a dump station. Cheaper then KOA - about $32.00 per day/night.
If you won't to stay in the Shenandoah Valley I would recommend Endless Caverns or the KOA at Broadway.
Have a great trip,
Allan
