The State College area has excellent summer trout fishing. Northern Bedford county also has excellent summer trout fishing and youare in easy driving distance to Raystone Lake ( deep lake that can be tough in summer).
Erie Pa has access to Lake Erie and Presque Isle. Need a boat or guide.
Susquehanna River can be good but guides are recommended.
Warren Pa gives you access to Kinzua Lake.
Youghiogheny River and Lake are decent in summer plus access to Ohiopyle, Frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater and the Flight 93 memorial.
