good honest assessment of Keen Lake in Poconos

We will be there 8/12-8/15. Looking forward to any updated reviews.

Been to Keen Lake, it was nice, but a town road runs right thru the park, the lake is really not very appealing for swimming, pool on the small side, and sites are on the tight side. I remember a lot of extra charges for things like running your rv air conditioner.

A better choice for a weeks vacation in the area is Otter Lake in Marshalls Creek, PA. We go to this park once a year on average and always have a great time. It's family owned with lots of activities, great bike riding, nice pool with dive board and slide, a big man-made lake for swimming, boating and fishing, and lots of cable tv.

I heard the roads and sites are tight. Then again, I heard that about other campgrounds that aren't tight.

I will be here for the first time in July. Everything I have heard about it is excellent. I'm looking forward to posts on this thread.
