I agree this is certainly a 1st world issue. I don't think one needs to lose a limb or suffer a fatality to discuss an RV issue on RV.net.
I survived on the smaller site and actually made the most of it.
Once I was squeezed into and parked the site wasn't so bad.
However that doesn't change the fact that there were more desirable sites,that remained vacant until the next day.
If there were not a first come first serve policy I would have no gripe. But since first come first serve is the policy I'm complaining.
Really no different than pulling in with reservations for site "A" only to find site A has been given to a camping group.
Eventually you are steered to a less desirable site "Z" after being told group campers get priority.
No site Z was not a death sentence nevertheless I was irritated upon discovering site A was still unoccupied.
