I no longer use my blue tote.
Without a macerator, the tote was more trouble than it was worth, IMO. Once filled, it was too heavy to lift into the truck, and while the wheels are good, they are not good enough for pulling it much more than a couple hundred yards.
With a macerator, 6-gallon blitz water cans (with their smaller-sized spigot openings) can now be easily filled and loaded into the truck. At a standard RV dump site the cans can be laid down flat with their spigots pouring into the the dump tank, several at a time. A single can can be lugged to a park or ski area restroom and emptied in a toilet--try doing that with a tote.
IMO, the macerator pump is more important than a tote.
