- CloudDriverExplorerWhy not just go to the source....Gouldings at (435) 727-3235
- Sandia_ManExplorer IICalling Gouldings directly will yield the most accurate answer, but we bypassed them and dry-camped alongside the Mittens as we are fully self-contained. It's been a few years but the Navajo Nation had a large overlook/bluff (called mesas in the Southwest) with large ramadas and long tables with firepit/BBQ where we spent a couple of days among the natural wonders of Monument Valley. Enjoy your time in the area.
- navybankerExplorerI intend to talk with them, but always good to get the word from other RVers who may be there now or have been lately.
- joloooteExplorerIf you ask the Native park people if their water is bed:o...You KNOWhat the answer will be.:S Take U'r own tank full of water from somewhere else.
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIDefinitely take your own water if in doubt. Also, someone mentioned parking in front of the Mittens in Monument Valley itself. The last I heard they are renovating the area and it is closed at this time. It is a fabulour place to park though.
- navybankerExplorerThere was a comment on here dated 9/10 that the CG ran out of water not that the water was bad. The topic was "Campgrounds near Monument Valley". The poster said the CG was bringing in water and someone staying there left for this reason. Again, just seeking info before making plans for later on this week. We carry water in our fresh tank.
