Grand Canyon in October?

Was there last year in October. North Rim first, for the last week of operations for the campground, then moved around to the South Rim and Trailer Village. Great place to stay, there's a shuttle right at their entrance that will take you anywhere within the park that you want to go.

Agree with others who recommend calling them, but be prepared to be put on hold. While checking in last year, the nice lady that was working there got several phone calls inquiring about available sites (there were available site), but she had to put the callers on hold to deal with folks checking in. She was by herself in the early afternoon, and just had to juggle things until someone else came in to assist her. You may not experience this when/if you call, but just a heads up.
