I love Grand Canyon, but if you are not going to hike it, then it is really just a couple of days worth of stuff (lots of overlooks where you can say "ooh, ahhh" and some lovely historic buildings.)
Consider staying at Karchner Caverns when you go to see Tombstone - nice CG (or at least is was when we were there 10 years ago) and the Caverns are cool. It is a shortish drive to Tombstone.
