We went to Yellowstone last year and stayed at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone and Colter Bay RV Park in the Tetons. We really didn't spend much time in the campsite in Yellowstone so it didn't matter that it was essentially a parking lot for RV's (we did appreciate the FHU's). Colter Bay RV park is a beautiful campground, IMO, we added days on to our Teton stay we liked the campground so much, though I would agree, I would add a day or two to Yellowstone. You can see the Tetons in 2 days. Also, I would consider renting a car from a town close by, (Make sure it's not Jackson though, everything is 5 times the price there.) driving an RV around Yellowstone might be challenging. They have parking for RV's at the sights, you just have to be lucky enough to get one.
