I totally get that, which is why I started trying to remember where that road was, to AVOID it. :)
I was thinking of taking the longer route down HWY 26 down past the Palisades Reservoir and up through Hoback into Jackson. I had visions of trying to pull our trailer up some of those switchbacks as they were in my memory and couldn't imagine making it out without having a heart attack.
