Grant Campground in Yellowstone - Central Enough?

I have visited Yellowstone numerous times. The park is too big to see conveniently from any one camp area. I often stay a few days at Madison, Norris, Canyon and Mammoth. I rarely bother with Grants or Bay Bridge but I stayed at both several years ago.

My favorite time to visit attractions is 5pm. By then the crowds have thinned and in the Summer there are hours left until sunset. I would not want to drive long distances at night.
