We volunteered for a national park and one of our 'jobs' was to dig out the water spigot areas in the campground because water wasn't draining and was leaving muddy large puddles.
The top rocks and soil beneath were disgusting - hair and garbage. Even though there are signs on the spigots of no hair washing, no washing of dishes, folks don't seem to think it's meant for them.
