Just a thought to all this....
What is in your gray and black tanks.
The gray is full of food waste(grease)and soap from dish washing and shower, etc.
The black tank contains (what bears do in the woods) so to speak..
The black decomposes the gray stuff does not... So might it be better to be able to dump black and not gray water?
Now I'm not saying it would be better to dump black instead of gray in a established camping area. But it might be be better when boondocking off the beaten path. Which would attract bears, etc. natural black water or grease, food scraps gray water.
Now of course this is assuming you don't put chemicals in your black tank. Then your black is just as bad as your gray.
I like the OP have never dumped anything gray or black anywhere when boondocking just putting this out for thought.
Another thought when we boondock we wash dishes in a tub in the kitchen sink and then dump the dishpan water in the toilet as the gray tank is smaller than the black. Also helps later to have extra fluid in the black so it drains better.
We also have developed a way to transport our waste tanks content when boondocking for extending periods without having to move our 5th wheel.
