I looked into putting a filter and pump in my gray tank and divert that water to the toilet supply line, but decided it wasn't worth the trouble.
We find it pretty easy to just catch kitchen sink and shower water before it goes down the drain and save it for toilet flushing (we put a valve on the toilet water supply to facilitate this). By doing this, we wind up with very in the gray tank.
