D .E. Bishop. I am going to take a guess on the campground you were not willing to give us the name. I would say I am almost 99.9 percent sure is Jalama Beach. Away from the 101 fwy, winding road, no longer a walk in campground, now is on reservations by the county of Santa Barbara.I think I hit the nail on the head
I thought so too...to each his own. We've been there and we didn't think it was that great.
I vote for Yosemite Valley, even with the crowds. It's spectacular.
