Got in last night, went to sleep with the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach.... What a beautiful place! Beautiful weather right now, no bugs, etc... Horses everywhere... Absolutely gorgeous! ...

Two other things /critters to watch for.
They have a small Japanese Elk that was released there back in the 1930's.. Its called a Sika, and it looks kinda like a cross between a deer and a goat. They have a peculiar hop when they run.
Also the Delmarva Fox squirrel. Large squirrel with a tail that appears to be about triple the normal size. Go down to the chincoteague wildlife refuge/national seashore and you will see plenty of both.
